Watch online Nepali movies 2010

The year 2010 has been great for the Nepali film industry; many new movies have been produced and released up till now. The year is yet to be over, so it is harmless to forecast that the industry is going to make a good income. Many new directors and actors have also appeared on the big screen this year, in particular female actors. This is a fine year to begin your film career as well, as many new comers have been given the prospect to perform and display their gift. Not only have that, but singers and music directors, like Anju Pant, and Satya and Swaroop Raj Acharya have had a triumphant musical endeavor, for the silver screen. Films based on conventional issues, or those made in a different way, have all fared well in the market.

Take Nai Nabhannu La, for example, it is a triangular love story with a few new presentations; this film did well in the market. Similarly, Simosh Sunuwar’s First Love, which does not have a new story, is being called a big hit of this year after being well handled by the young urban audience. There have also been films made in other languages, than Nepali, that have done well in the market. It is important to mention that films made on different topics, like Dus Gaja and Das Dhunga are being called a must watch.  The list seems to go on and on, and everyone is crossing their fingers for the year to end well. Not only have Nepali movies worked in the Cinema halls, but for those who are find of watching movies online the year has been fantastic.

There has been a significant increase in the number of people, who watch online Nepali movies in 2010. Whether this is good thing, or bad, it is for the audience and the critics to decide. After all, it is always good news to have an increase in viewers, but if it is good by the means of online sites is debatable. Most online sites hold unauthorized copies of movies, and are not responsible to pay the required royalty to the film and film technicians. This is not legal, nor is it ethically well received; just imagine someone stealing your work and not crediting you. It cannot be guaranteed that the latest Nepali movies to be released have not been posted online.

This is, in fact, the greatest danger of all; people are inclined to take the easy way out than pay money for the product. Therefore, it is advised that people go to the cinema halls to watch Nepali movies. That way you will be helping Nepali films earn, so that the earning can be used in making sophisticated and technically superior movies.

The World Wide Web has made everything easy; it has created a web like that of a spider’s. Each and everyone, when they enter the web are forever attracted to it, and cannot free themselves of the dependency. Also known as the internet, it is difficult to turn your attention to anything, as the internet is so vivid and exciting. You can do numerous things on the internet, from finding out information to shopping. Likewise, you can listen to music and even watch movies on the internet. If you are a Nepali movie fan, but do not live in Nepal then the internet has a solution for you. You can readily watch many Nepali movies, online. There are sites like You Tube, Nepal 123.com, Veoh.com, and others that allow you to watch certain Nepali movies, online.
Of the many movies, you can watch Nepali online movies Ek Number Ko Pakhe on the internet. One of the sites that feature this movie is You Tube; it has the full movie divided into parts in its site. It is not the site that is liable for the upload, but a user that has used the platform. Ek Number Ko Pakhe is directed by a well known director, Kishor Rana. It is the production of Man Sarovar films, and has been presented by Shekhar Koirala. The film was released about ten years ago, and gained immense success when it played in the cinema halls, nationwide. The film features Rajesh Hamal in the lead role, and is paired with Karishma Manandhar. Likewise, the supporting star cast has actors and actresses, like Ramesh Upreti, Jal Shah, Nir Shah, Nrayan Tripathi, Dinesh D.C. and Rabi Shah playing their parts. The film is about an innocent villager, who raises his voice against injustice.
The film’s story is not novel, but it did win hearts with the all star cast and beautifully penned songs. When you watch Nepali online movies Ek Number Ko Pakhe, you are not going to experience a quality streaming. However, if all you want is to get a basic idea about the film, it is worth the watch. Watch online Nepali movie Ek Number Ko Pakhe

Regardless of pirated sites, sometimes you can find movies, including Nepali movies online on credible sites. These sites require the viewers to pay a certain amount of money, to buy the online version of the movie. However, people outside of Nepal, who want to watch a Nepali movie can easily visit websites, such as Nepalisite.com and 123Nepal.com. These are websites, which may have pirated the movies, and kept them online, but at least an audience can watch it for free. This attitude may be one of the reasons, why piracy cannot be easily controlled. For a student to want to watch Nepali movies, they do not want to pay for VCDs.  Similarly, You Tube also allows for people to watch Nepali movies online.
Among other movies, you can watch online Nepali movie Ek Number Ko Pakhe. The movie has actors, Rajesh Hamal and Karishma Manadhar in the main leads, with Jal Shah, Ramesh Upreti, Nir Shah, Rabi Shah, and others supporting the script. This movie, directed by Kishor Rana became an instant hit at the time of its release. The film has Hamal playing the role of an innocent villager, who is often called “Pakhe” by others for his simple manners. What made the film such a success was the fact that, the movie emphasized on the beauty of innocence and the power of it. The title song of the movie was sung by all, during the time period it was screened. Its initial success makes it a must watch, especially if you are a fan of Rajesh-Karishma couple. You can watch this movie online on You Tube and on Nepal123.com, amongst other sites.
Now, if there is any other site that is accountable for promoting piracy, whether that is what the website’s purpose are, it is the You Tube. Without proper rules, it is simple to upload any videos on the site, and can be downloaded by many people. It is fine for the movie lovers to find their all time favorites online, but in the course, it disregards the makers and the actors of the movie. By not paying for the movies, we are hurting the artistic privileges of the filmmakers, and dishonoring the talent of the actors. It would be better for the film makers and the audience, if the concerned authority could regulate the piracy of Nepali movies online.
So, if you want to watch Ek Number Ko Pakhe, why don’t you buy a VCD of the movie? Rather than watching a movie that has been pirated online, it is better to watch it from a quality DVD. If you ask around or research on the internet, you can find out the places where you can get Nepali movie DVDs.

Nepali movie directed by Tulsi Ghimire

What makes a movie? Well, there are so many answers to this question, and surely not only one is correct. Many will say that it is the story that makes a film, and others will say that it is the presentation that makes a film. Still others will argue that it is the director that makes a film, yet more, who credit the actors. Some people see the technical aspect of the movies to be stronger than any other, while some believe it is the music and the dialogues that make a film. All of these views are equally true, and have similar weight. Nonetheless, if there is a choice then I would choose the director to be the most important in film making. The primary reason for the choice is that they are the anchor of the film.
The Nepali film industry boasts numerous talented directors, most of whom have toiled endlessly for years. It is the fortune of the film industry that such talent is available in the country. One of the veteran and extremely talented directors of Nepali movies is Tulsi Ghimire. There is none like him in the film industry; in terms of his work, his personality and his style statement. Adding to his talent, he is also a script writer, editor, cameraman and a lyricist. He started his film career in Nepal, as a director, from the movie, Bansuri in 1981. This happens to be the first Nepali movie directed by Tulsi Ghimire. The movie was not a great success; however, soon after he came with Kusume Rumal in 1985; this film has an eternal place in the history of Nepali films. This film was one of the first Nepali movies to celebrate Silver Jubilee at a cinema hall.                 Thereafter, Tulsi Ghimire had many other successes to follow, including Lahure, Chino, Deuta, Dakshina, Balidaan, Darpan Chaya, among others. He is one of the versatile directors that the industry has, who has made romantic films, as well as highly sensitive films. Of the Nepali movie directed by Tulsi Ghimire, Balidan happens to be my favorite. This movie was an incredible effort, and delivered well to the audience. The actors, the subject, and the presentation of this movie were fantastic. Likewise, Dakshina had much to say about the education system of Nepal, including the immense respect deserved by teachers. Similarly, it may not be unwise to term Ghimire, a patriotic director with films, like Lahure, Balidan and Desh.
One thing is for sure, whenever there is a Nepali movie directed by Tulsi Ghimire at the cinema halls; it attracts everyone. It may not turn out to be a super hit all the time, but it definitely gains viewers because of the name, Tulsi Ghimire.

Old Nepali movie Kusume Rumal

I would have to mention that the old Nepali movies are gold, for the most part. Even though they were made at a time, when films could not be in a digital format, needed to be taken to Mumbai for finishing, and were made in a low budget; people still remember Maitighar and Paral ko Aago of the pre-color era. There are many people, who want to watch Jeevan Rekha and Sindur, again and again. Movies like, Samjhana and Balidan have a cult following, among Nepali movie lovers. Some of my own favorites include Basudev, Prem Pinda, Behuli and Balidan, among others. Why it is that Nepali movie enthusiasts remember the time, when these movies were made?
I do not have clear answers to this question; however I know that I will watch Basudev and Balidan a hundred times, without feeling bored. It may be the story that makes these films stand out, and be remembered today. It may also be the background scores and the play back singing that excites movie lovers, to love old Nepali movies. For me, it is also the actors that make a difference in my movie choice; the actors in the old Nepali movies are incredible in their roles, and are so believable. Take the old Nepali movie Kusume Rumal for example; it has actors, Bhuwan K.C, Tripti Naadkar, Nir Shah and Singer, Udit Narayan Jha as the main leads. The movie was directed by Veteran director Tulsi Ghimire, and was released in 1985.
Old Nepali movie Kusume Rumal is remembered fondly by many, who have had the privilege of watching the movie. Very few people can forget the cute Bhuwan K.C. in his rural overalls, and the simply beautiful Tripti Naadkar. And, who can beat the performance by an expert actor, Nir Shah? The story of movie is nothing new, as it is a love triangle between Bhuwan, Tripti and Udit. It has the usual turn of events in which love and sacrifice is highlighted. However, all the actors in the movie have performed their best, making the movie stand out from the crowd of love stories. The movie also features one of the most coveted background scores, of all times. Senior music composer, Ranjeet Gajmer and singers, Udit Narayan Jha, Deepa Jha, Bhari Ghimire have worked to create magical songs for the movie.
Such was the reception for the Old Nepali movie Kusume Rumal that a new version was made in 2009 by the name of Kusume Rumal 2. The new film could not earn as much love, as the old is still fresh in people’s mind. There is a need for the movies of today to be of such stature that they will be remembered, twenty years on from now.
